A coyote suspected of biting a number of other people in Westchester was killed on a Yonkers golfing direction and reportedly found to be rabid.
The victims had been attacked by that animal, or some other coyote observed with it and also believed to have the disease, Lohud.com said Saturday.
Attacks or suggested sightings took place in Yonkers, Hastings-on-Hudson and Somers. The sufferers included a postal employee and a county cop.
A small dog used to be killed and three sheep in all probability mauled within the Muscoot Farm park.
The attacks began Wednesday night time and came about over the next 24 hours.
Police Officers are at the lookout for the second one coyote.
Yonkers police requested anyone who encounters a coyote that fails to flee from other folks or displays competitive conduct to name 911.
