After creating a grand (and when I say grand, I mean grand) front at this night’s Grammys red carpet, Girl Gaga helped kick off the award show because the 2d performer of the night time.
Following Kendrick Lamar’s powerful and politically charged starting, Gaga took to the degree to accomplish two ballads off her last album: “Joanne” and “A Million Reasons.” The emotional efficiency, which was a tribute to her overdue Aunt Joanne (whom her whole album was devoted to and named after), came about at a grand piano covered with massive, illuminated angel wings.

“That Is for my father’s sister, Joanne. This Is for romance and compassion, even when you can’t bear in mind,” Gaga introduced sooner than singing.

Towards the center of her performance, the singer announced “time’s up!,” referencing Hollywood’s ongoing motion against sexual attack and harassment. She then transitioned from singing “Joanne” to “One Million Reasons.” Earlier this night, she also wore a white rose to symbolize her support for the Time’s Up motion.
