Rosario Dawson is the most recent celebrity to speak out on behalf of the #MeToo motion, by revealing that she used to be sexually abused as a child. In an interview on the Morado Lens podcast, Dawson mentioned the implications of the abuse she encountered growing up, and what she thinks of the Time’s Up initiative.

In the newest episode of Morado Lens, the prolific actor revealed: “i used to be raped and molested as a kid, so for me, the world was like that considering that i was a kid.”
Of the hot slew of sexual attack allegations in Hollywood, Dawson said, “When I saw it in the administrative center, it wasn’t foreign to me. It used to be like, well, that even happens inside family. It happens with people who are imagined to take care of you when you’re a kid.”

Dawson also found out that she was once in a position for the #MeToo movement, and the Time’s Up initiative, of which she’s a staunch proponent. Of abuse and attack in any business or state of affairs she mentioned, “We don’t must keep passing this on. that is archaic and terrible and harmful. Permit’s have a look at it.”

The Luke Cage and The Defenders actor also said of #MeToo and Time’s Up, “It’s beautiful. I’m so ready for this moment.”
