Shortly after Hollywood powerhouse Meryl Streep confirmed her casting in Big Little Lies, fellow movie icon Helen Mirren has introduced she’ll be heading to our small displays in a new regal miniseries for HBO.
The Oscar-successful actress will take on the function of Catherine the nice in a four-section collection in an effort to read about the “politically tumultuous and sexually charged court of probably the most tough female monarch in historical past,” in step with The Hollywood Reporter.

The display will function Catherine on the end of her reign and take care of her feverish affair with Grigory Potemkin – a job but to be cast.
